Short of money while travelling overseas ? Here the information might help you to activate overseas ATM withdrawal

Some preferred to bring a lot of cash and some not. How about if you're in situation short of money? Here the tip for for those are using Maybank ATM card.

You can do this while at overseas too. Just make sure you phone is activated with roaming to allow received TAC SMS from Maybank for verification.

By the way, overseas withdrawal is RM12 (For up too USD1000) and forget not the GST tax! RM0.72. So, total amount is RM12.72. Actually, it still worth to withdraw by using ATM compared to money changer. Since the exchange rate quite good too.

Login to with your Maybank2u username and password. Click at "Card Management"

Click at Overseas ATM Facility

Then, choose Activation. Afterwards, just fill in the start date and end data. You should be able to request TAC number for verification and activation.  Then done. 

After you complete all the above steps, just head to nearest ATM with "PLUS" logo.

Here the logo. Just flip you ATM. Most of your card with this logo.
